Text Box: TIME TO PICK UP YOUR SEED POTATOES AND ONIONS FROM THE SHOP

We are waiting on the outcome of PM Boris Johnson’s set out of his four step plan to release England from lockdown later today to review when we can reopen the trading hut at weekends.  With restricted times of one hour 10.30 – 11.30 on both Saturdays and Sundays.

However, in the meantime we are pleased to say this year’s seed potato and onions orders are now available for collection. Anyone that has pre- ordered could they please come to the allotment on Wednesday 24 February 2021 between 10.00 – 12.00 to collect.

In addition we have an adequate supply of Clover compost and other items which can be purchased from the trading hut. To comply with the Government initiative it will be necessary to wear face masks when entering the trading hut, social distancing will be required at all times for all parties safety with only one person to enter the trading hut to purchase items and make payments as appropriate for the bought goods.

There are a variety of seed potatoes and onions still available for purchase, with the weather conditions improving it will be time shortly for planting out this year’s produce. The click and collect system remains available during the lockdown period which has been a great success used by many of our plot holders.

Thank you for your continued support during these challenging times please remain safe and support the NHS, we look forward in meeting up with all plot holders as early as practical still complying and retaining the social distancing.

Kind regards

Robin W Warner
